Judy & Joe’s Coolidge Corner Engagement Session

I’ll be photographing Judy and Joe’s wedding this fall but we wanted to take advantage of a beautiful summer day for an engagement session. It was a fun morning of poking around the nooks and crannies of Judy’s childhood stomping grounds, Coolidge Corner in Brookline. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the morning.

Gail and Matt’s Mount Washington Hotel Wedding

I recently travelled up to the Mount Washington Resort & Hotel, located in Bretton Woods to shoot Gail and Matt’s wedding. Here is a preview of some of my favorite images from their day.

Gail and her bridesmaids all got ready in one of the hotel’s suites.

While Matt and the Groomsmen prepared and waited on the other side of the hotel.

It was overcast in the morning but the weather cleared up treating us to a dramatic  display of clouds against the mountains for the ceremony.

The resort has some wonderful backdrops for taking photos, including this dark cave.

And I was lucky to have Maine wedding photographer, Andree Kehn along helping to create wonderful images including the gorgeous one below.

Carrie Sartor from Lyndsey Hamilton Events in NYC was the event’s planner, and you can see her attention to detail in these shots from the reception.

All of the toasts featured this trophy sized goblet.

Guests attending from out of the country shared some of their ‘local customs’ with the bride and groom.

The band was rocking and kept the guests on their toes until the last minute.

Can’t get enough? Check out more of my favorite photos from this wedding over on my Facebook page.

Congratulations again, Gail and Matt!

Hell’s Kitchen Finalist Jason Santos

My favorite restaurant in the whole world is Gargoyles on the Square in Davis Square, Somerville. For the past two months Gargoyles’ Executive Chef, Jason Santos has been competing on the FOX reality TV show Hell’s Kitchen. And he’s been doing quite well–so well in fact that he’s made it through all of the eliminations and is one of the two chefs who will be competing for all the marbles on the upcoming season finale. I’ll be at Gargoyles next Tuesday night to cheer Jason on.

Jason asked me to take some publicity photos for his new website. Here’s a few of them.

And of course, any post about Jason wouldn’t be complete without showing off some of his cuisine.

Trust me, Jason’s food tastes even better than it looks. Yum!
